About your stay

KAA is currently designing the perfect wilderness getaway, in luxurious heli-glamping accommodation 5km from our base. This remote, riverside location provides the perfect escape from the world.

 Tag a stay onto your day of heli-biking, or fly in from our base to relax. KAA can tailor your escape to suit your needs.

About our glamping tent:

  • Our Sunshine Safaris tent sleeps up to 4 guests (2 bedrooms).
  • Two double beds
  • The tent is equipped with a full bathroom, shower and composting toilet.
  • A kitchen area and large deck faces the picturesque Waipakahi River.
  • An out door fire pit is installed to keep you cosy at nights.
  • Soak in our outdoor bathtub while taking in the views.

Please note, guests are welcome to ride or walk to the accommodation one or both ways. However, pricing will not change as it includes a luggage drop and requires servicing via helicopter. Please contact our team for pricing if you wish to carry in luggage and food.
